Michael C. Rayner Selected to Showcase With
Smothers Bros. at Las Vegas Comedy Festival
Quirky Comedian Performs Oct. 30 and Nov. 1H2F Comedy Productions Inc. is proud to announce that comedian Michael C. Rayner (Over One Billion Burgers Spun) will perform two shows at the Second Annual Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Rayner has already achieved nationwide recognition via his appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Extreme Gong Show and Sesame Street. He is a favorite of Nickelodeon Television’s What Would You Do? and Nick Arcade. Rayner frequently pops up in television commercials (he plays that hapless gas station attendant who tries to grab a photo of Elvis) and the Hapless Carpenter in the new Ace Hardware ads. He has appeared with Ringo Star, Jane Seymour and Anthony Quinn in several ads. Having Frank Sinatra personally approve him to promote his compilation CD for a Capitol Records commercial is one of Rayner’s proudest moments.
With a comedic style reminiscent of Vaudeville days, Rayner combines his expertise as a juggler and comedian to perform astounding tricks that leave audiences gasping with laughter and surprise. Described as “Steve Martin meets Robin Williams,” he has just returned from a triumphant tour where he performed at the American Bowl Games in Tokyo. And the LA Weekly says, “Comic – magician – juggler Michael Rayner has an act that nearly defies description.”
When not performing, Rayner writes for E! Entertainment Television, The Gameshow Network, Nickelodeon and The Spark Factory.
During the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, Rayner will appear:
• Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Las Vegas Hilton (Hosted by the Smothers Brothers). and
• Saturday, Nov. 1 at TBA on the Fremont Street stage.
