D.J. Demers is a funny guy who happens to wear hearing aids. After his stand-up performance on Conan garnered over 700,000 views in its first two days online, D.J. conducted an AMA on Reddit that quickly shot to the front page. He was a finalist in NBC’s Stand-up For Diversity and was the winner of the 2014 Homegrown Comics Competition at the prestigious Just For Laughs festival in Montreal. After winning the competition, D.J. was invited to perform at a TV taping, the first time that has happened in festival history. With his quick wit and easy charm, D.J. Damienne Merlina shares hilarious and insightful stories of her life as a female, amputee, comedian, as well as her recent viral anti bullying video featured on Upworthy, Huffington Post and John Hodgman of the Daily Show. Soon after she was made a paid regular at the World Famous Comedy Store by the legendary Mitzi Shore, she was injured in a car accident and her right arm was amputated. She returned to the stage just a month after the accident and hasn’t stopped performing since. Her credits include the upcoming movie Casual Encounters with Taran Killam slated for release later this year and RuPaul’s “Skin Wars: Fresh Paint.” She performs regularly at The Ice House, The Improv, and Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank CA. Ryan Niemiller moved to Los Angeles in order to entertain crowds with his unique brand of comedy. Born with a disability in both arms, the self-proclaimed “Cripple Threat of Comedy” shares his views of the world from the perspective of the handicapped. Ranging from dating to finding employment to family issues, Ryan is not afraid to speak his mind. Ryan has been getting his face and nubbs out there in the Los Angeles area, as well as all throughout southern California, performing at such venues as the Ice House, Hollywood Improv, Ontario Improv, and Irvine Improv. He has worked with many of the top in the business already, including Carlos Mencia, Christopher Titus, Brad Williams, and Eric Schwartz. With his quick wit, great timing, and a gimmick that only he can exploit, Ryan hopes to prove to the comedy world that he may be unarmed, but he is dangerous. Originally from Honolulu, HI, Diane Kawasaki is a Japanese-Korean-American Little Person with a mission in life: to confront ignorance with her comedy.
